Oracle Cloud Security Consultant

About the Role
 

You will join an established Oracle Cloud program for a major client, working as a senior practitioner within a collaborative delivery team. This is a hands-on role with real scope — you will be designing and implementing security solutions across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure while also guiding the team around you and contributing to decisions that shape the program's direction.

If you are someone who takes ownership, knows OCI security deeply, and can operate confidently as the go-to expert on a complex enterprise engagement, this role is built for you.
 

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and implement OCI security solutions that protect enterprise systems, applications, and data against cyber threats, unauthorized access, and breaches

• Integrate security controls into enterprise environments, ensuring they align with business operations and compliance requirements

• Act as the subject matter expert on Oracle Cloud and OCI security within the project team

• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to strengthen the client's overall security posture

• Analyse emerging threats and translate them into practical, proactive mitigation strategies

• Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to team members, raising the bar on security capability across the engagement

• Contribute to key decisions and take accountability for outcomes within your area of ownership

• Identify opportunities to improve current security processes and support continuous enhancement initiatives

Essential

• Advanced hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Security

• Proven track record designing and implementing security solutions in complex enterprise environments

• Strong understanding of security frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management

• Ability to operate as an SME — credible with clients, trusted by the team

• Experience collaborating across multiple teams on large-scale delivery programs
   

Preferred

• Oracle Security certifications (OCI Security Professional 1Z0-1104 or equivalent)

• CCSP, CISSP, or comparable security credentials

• Prior experience on Oracle Cloud transformation or migration programs

• Familiarity with the UAE or broader GCC regulatory and compliance landscape
