Job Description:

This position offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license while helping patients and families navigate complex healthcare decisions with compassion and confidence. You'll combine clinical expertise with meaningful relationship-building in a role that truly impacts quality of life and patient outcomes.

What Does It Mean to Be Part of Our Palliative Care & Hospice Team?

At Intermountain Health, we recognize that serious illness affects more than physical health. Our Palliative Care and Hospice teams work together to provide holistic, patient-centered care that supports patients and families through some of life's most challenging moments.

As a Palliative Care and Hospice RN, you will partner closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, social workers, chaplains, therapists, and case managers to ensure patients receive compassionate, coordinated care.

Whether helping a patient better manage symptoms and improve quality of life through palliative care services or guiding families through a hospice admission, you'll play a critical role in ensuring every patient receives care that reflects their goals and wishes.

This role offers the unique opportunity to impact patients throughout their healthcare journey while building meaningful relationships and supporting informed decision-making.

Why Work With Us?

  • Meaningful Patient Connections: Build trusting relationships with patients and families while making a lasting difference during important moments in their lives.

  • Specialized Clinical Practice: Develop expertise in symptom management, serious illness care, advance care planning, and hospice transitions.

  • Professional Growth Opportunities: Access continuing education, leadership development, certification support, and career advancement opportunities throughout Intermountain Health.

  • Autonomy and Variety: Enjoy a dynamic role that combines patient assessment, education, care coordination, admissions, and advocacy.

  • Work-Life Balance: Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

At Intermountain Health, our mission is to help people live the healthiest lives possible. We believe our caregivers are the heart of that mission.

  • Mission-Driven Organization: Join a nationally recognized, not-for-profit health system dedicated to providing extraordinary care.

  • Patient-Centered Focus: Deliver care that prioritizes dignity, comfort, quality of life, and shared decision-making.

  • Supportive Leadership and Culture: Collaborate with leaders and colleagues who are committed to your success and well-being.

  • Comprehensive Benefits: Competitive compensation, medical, dental, vision, retirement benefits, and generous paid time off.

  • Career Mobility: Explore opportunities across hospitals, clinics, homecare, hospice, and specialty service lines throughout Intermountain Health.
