Purpose and Impact
At Sleeman Breweries, we believe that brewing exceptional beverages begins with caring for our people and our craft. As a Logistics Support Administrator, you will support critical logistics administration and inventory return activities that help ensure operational accuracy, customer satisfaction, and efficient product movement across the assigned region. Your work will contribute to maintaining the high standards of quality, service, and accountability that support our business every day.
Responsibilities:
Returns & Inventory Processing
- Monitor returns exception reports and ensure Beer Store returns are accurately processed and entered into Oracle.
- Create, receive, verify, and process Licensee returns, including returns managed through offsite warehouses in Ottawa and Brampton.
- Review return information for accuracy and determine appropriate follow-up actions when discrepancies are identified.
Data Entry & Record Management
- Enter logistics and operational data with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Track invoices, credits, and return transactions using department tracking tools and files.
- Maintain logs, reports, and tracking sheets, including shipping discrepancy and keg tracking records.
Customer & Cross-Functional Support
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Customer Service, warehouse teams, and Licensees to resolve issues and ensure timely processing of returns and corrections.
- Process shipping error corrections for Beer Store and customer orders and maintain related documentation.
Operational & Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to the Ontario Logistics team and assigned region.
- Assist managers and supervisors with special projects, reporting, and daily administrative activities.
- Provide vacation coverage and support for other team members as required.
Quality & Compliance
- Support adherence to quality, food safety, and operational standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental objectives.
Skills and Qualifications (Required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative, logistics, warehouse, or distribution-related environment.
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications; experience with Oracle or other warehouse/order management systems is considered an asset.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, data entry, and record-keeping abilities with a high level of accuracy.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and attention to detail.
- Ability to demonstrate values compatible with the organization.
Work Environment (Hybrid/Onsite)
Onsite. This position is based at the Guelph facility and requires regular interaction with logistics and warehouse operations. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when accessing the warehouse floor.
