Senior SAP FICA Functional Analyst - S/4HANA (Employed or freelance)

📋 Tasks and responsibilities

You will be part of an ERP team responsible for supporting business-critical processes across areas such as HR, Finance, Purchasing, Logistics and Communication. In this position, you help refine ways of working and improve the user experience by optimizing existing SAP solutions and contributing to the rollout of new functionalities.

As a functional analyst specialized in SAP FICA, you collaborate closely with business stakeholders and the ERP team manager to deliver solutions that are robust, efficient and sustainable over time.

• Analyse change requests and assess workload, feasibility and implementation effort.
• Investigate, compare and recommend functional solution scenarios.
• Determine the impact of requested changes on the current application landscape.
• Contribute to service continuity and the long-term maintainability of the solution.
• Translate business and functional specifications into required system changes and follow up the related developments.
• Maintain and update functional documentation and reference material.
• Prepare test plans, coordinate testing, monitor quality and support production releases.
• Follow up incidents and problems and contribute actively to their resolution.

📝 Your profile

• You have solid experience as a functional analyst.
• You bring proven senior-level experience as a functional analyst within SAP FICA.
• You have strong hands-on experience with SAP configuration.
• You have experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• You have knowledge of ABAP debugging.
• You have demonstrable experience working with a modelling tool.
• Experience with SAP IS-U is an asset.
• Experience in the energy sector is a strong plus.
• Experience working for a DGO is an advantage.
• You are fluent in at least one of the two national languages, Dutch or French, and you have a good command of the other.
