• Post and review journals and ensure accounting records are complete and accurate.
Banking, Treasury & Intercompany
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow requirements.

• Coordinate statutory and tax compliance requirements for the Namibian entity.
• Work with relevant advisors and authorities where required.
• Ensure both entities remain compliant with applicable local and cross-border requirements.
Team Supervision
• Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, including clerks and bookkeepers.
• Review their work and take responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of financial
outputs.
• Provide guidance and support to the broader finance function.
Audit & Financial Statements
• Prepare audit files, financial schedules and supporting documentation.
• Provide accurate accounting records and information to external auditors.
• Support the preparation and completion of annual financial statements for both entities.
• Ensure reporting and audit deadlines are met.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
• Mid-to-senior level Financial Accounting experience with strong full-function accounting
exposure.
• Experience managing the accounting function for multiple entities, ideally including a
foreign entity or cross-border operation.
• Strong experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, AP, AR, cash management
and month-end reporting.
• Practical experience with SARS tax and statutory compliance.
• Exposure to Namibian accounting/tax requirements would be highly advantageous.
• Experience with cross-border transactions, intercompany accounting and multi-currency
reconciliations.
• Previous experience supervising, mentoring or reviewing the work of junior finance staff.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and take ownership of the
finance function.
• Excellent organisational and deadline-management skills.
Qualifications
A relevant accounting/finance qualification is required.
Professional registration or progression towards professional designation such as SAIPA, CIMA or
