Missions
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SSTL – ECU Safety (Sub-System Technical Leader) to support automotive ECU development projects within a Stellantis environment
The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical leadership of the ECU Safety perimeter, ensuring system requirements, functional safety, architecture, development, integration, and validation activities are properly coordinated throughout the development lifecycle
The position combines ECU system engineering, functional safety, technical leadership, and supplier coordination, with strong interaction across system, software, hardware, validation, and vehicle teams
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical development of the ECU Safety perimeter from requirements definition through validation and vehicle integration
- Analyze and manage system and ECU technical requirements
- Ensure requirements consistency, completeness, traceability, and technical feasibility
- Define and maintain the ECU system architecture and HW/SW interfaces
- Coordinate Functional Safety activities according to ISO 26262
- Contribute to safety analyses and safety concepts: HARA, FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, FSC and TSC
- Ensure proper implementation of safety requirements and safety mechanisms within the ECU
- Coordinate activities between System, Software, Hardware, Safety, Validation and Vehicle Integration teams
- Lead technical reviews and support issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage technical interfaces with suppliers and internal Stellantis stakeholders
- Monitor ECU maturity, technical risks, open points and development milestones
- Support ECU integration, validation, fault analysis and troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with project quality, safety, timing and technical objectives

Languages
- Professional proficiency in English
- Professional or intermediate proficiency in French
