The Role
Emerson's Aspen Technology (AspenTech) business is a global leader in industrial software, powering the future of the world's most critical industries. We drive innovation through AI-powered, model-based solutions that help customers operate with greater performance, safety, and sustainability.As a Principal Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will play a critical role in driving growth across AspenTech's Latin America business. You will lead end-to-end recruitment across the region while serving as a strategic talent advisor to business leaders.
Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, you will partner closely with hiring managers and senior leaders to deliver predictable hiring outcomes, build talent pipelines, and enhance AspenTech's ability to attract and retain top talent in a competitive market.
Based in our Mexico City AspenTech office, you will support hiring across Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina. As a visible Talent Acquisition partner, you will do more than manage requisitions. You will advise on market dynamics, and influence hiring strategies that enable business growth.
Your Impact
Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, from intake and sourcing through offer negotiation and onboarding, ensuring the hiring of high-quality talent across the LATAM region.
Facilitate intake meetings with hiring managers to align on role requirements, candidate profiles, location strategy, interview plans, market insights, and hiring timelines.
Develop and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill technical and commercial, roles through sourcing, talent mapping, and proactive engagement of passive candidates.
Partner with business leaders on, hiring priorities, identifying risks early and recommending practical solutions.
Provide market intelligence on talent availability, compensation trends, competitor activity, and candidate expectations to inform hiring decisions.
Use recruiting data and analytics to drive results, including pipeline health, conversion rates, offer acceptance rates, time-to-fill, and forecasting accuracy.
Ensure recruiting processes, systems, and reporting remain accurate and compliant, maintaining strong ATS discipline.
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through proactive communication, timely feedback, and efficient process management.
Coach and influence interview teams to make informed hiring decisions while maintaining momentum throughout the selection process.
Conduct hiring strategy and progress reviews with stakeholders, identifying barriers and implementing solutions to meet hiring objectives.
Contribute to regional and global Talent Acquisition initiatives, including employer branding, university recruiting, sourcing strategies, talent intelligence, and recruiting technology adoption.
Support broader regional HR projects/initiatives as needed.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of recruiting experience, including responsibility for professional, technical, and commercial hiring in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of 3 years supporting technology-driven organizations, including software, SaaS, professional services, or consulting environments.
- Advanced English communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation capabilities.
- Proven expertise in direct sourcing and building talent pipelines for specialized and hard-to-fill roles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume requisition load while maintaining quality, speed, and stakeholder confidence.
- Strong proficiency using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing channels to identify and engage top talent.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders, effectively influencing decisions, setting expectations, and providing talent market guidance.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage metrics and market insights to improve hiring outcomes.
- Strong process discipline and attention to detail, including ATS management, reporting accuracy, and compliance.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across geographies, functions, and time zones.
Work Location:
AspenTech has a global hybrid workplace for most of our roles. Employees are expected to work in the office 4 days per week and may work remotely 1 day per week, unless the employee has a reasonable accommodation or other approved exception to the hybrid workplace schedule. This role follows our 4-1 hybrid model and is based in La Reforma, Mexico City, Mexico.
