Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Alarm Response in Alpharetta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a telecommunications and technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required incident reports.
- Communicate professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and operational updates.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
