Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic ETF Operations Senior Manager to lead and oversee operational excellence within our Exchange-Trade Fund (ETF) servicing business. This senior leadership role is responsible for managing a team of professionals, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the highest standards of client service, operational integrity, and regulatory compliance across the ETF servicing lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as support mechanism for achievement including SMART goal setting
- Oversee ETF creation and redemption order processing and settlement arrangement, both in cash and in-kind, including collateral management and P&L calculations
- Manage and monitor daily operational workflows to ensure accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all deliverables
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients, and serve as point of escalation of complex client issues and authorized participant (AP) inquiries
- Identify opportunities to implement process improvements and recommend system, service, and process enhancements
- Coordinate staff assignments to achieve optimal effectiveness through assessment of business requirements and staff skill sets and development needs
- Perform discovery and due diligence with clients and visits regarding service quality measurement
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience in ETF operations or tertiary qualifications
- Strong understanding of custody and accounting, specifically as it relates to ETF’s
- Knowledge of fund services and its processes
- Knowledge of domestic and international capital markets
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
