Job Summary
Our Construction Management team is currently seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to join our growing LA team!Responsibilities & Qualifications
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Capable of assisting the Resident Engineer in all aspects of required Construction Inspection services and office engineering work.
Interpret contract specifications and special provisions.
Must be capable of performing inspection for quality workmanship, including field measurements of construction materials and products.
Identify changes, errors or field adjustments to the contract documents and recommend action to the Resident Engineer.
Apply standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out tasks as part of a broad range of project assignments.
Monitor contractor’s work progress and schedule and maintain daily records that track this performance.
Support contract compliance with plans, specifications, and regulations.
Assist in the resolution of design/coordination issues.
Attend and facilitate various meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
Assist in project close-out.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5+ years experience working in landscape construction inspection for highway or major public works.
Demonstrated experience with concepts and practices related to complex engineering and construction infrastructure projects is required.
Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to utilize any project-related software.

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $45.77 - $68.65 hourly for this position and local market.
