Main Duties & Responsibilities
Primary Job Role
Conducts all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental and contamination control policies, procedures, and regulations. Wears safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, ear protection, and complete company-provided uniform while in the workplace. Uses proper Lockout Tag Out procedures, fall protection, seatbelts in vehicles/forklifts, arc flash protection, and confined space procedures when exposed to these hazards.
Receive shipments, examine, unpack and check for accuracy. Validate rejects, damaged items, shortages and notifies appropriate parties. Count, sort and place stock materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style or location.
Monitor all warehouse operational procedures such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, weekly audit reporting and keeping parts/warehouse inventory current. Maintains organization and cleanliness of outside parts & raw materials storage.
Prepare outbound shipments per established company guidelines.
Conducts pre-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards. Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of assigned equipment and promptly reports any issues to the Dispatcher.
Safely loads, transports, and unloads components to customer job sites or company facilities. Operates various types of trailers, including gooseneck trailers, ensuring secure and compliant hauling practices. Ensures timely and accurate delivery while maintaining professional conduct.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state and federal transportation laws. Complies with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, maintains accurate driver logs, and ensures all required documentation is available during transport.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Formal Education High School diploma or GED
Experience 1-3 years
Required / Credentials
Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
Must possess a clean and valid Class A Driver's License
1–3 years of Class A CDL driving experience
1-3 years of experience with gooseneck trailers
Not Required but Highly Desired Criteria
Updating of Knowledge
Job requirements change requiring re-training to stay current every 1-2 years.
