Requirements:

  1. Must be enrolled at an accredited university
  2. Receiving credit for the internship
  3. Be able to commute to the office as these are not remote internships
  4. All internships are unpaid, and we do require flu vaccinations


Requirements

 

Child and Adolescent department the intern would be working with youth and their families from Level 2, 3 and 4. The intern would be providing services in the home, community, office and over telehealth when appropriate. They would attend team meetings and medication consultation as well as weekly supervision. Providing individual and family therapy to patients and their families Sessions can be in the community, office and telehealth sessions collaborate with team members, medical providers and community partners Caseloads will be a variety of levels of care, ages, diagnosis and symptoms. Responsible for maintaining electronic medical records


Cypress Center is a 16-bed inpatient psychiatric unit for adults experiencing a mental health crisis. We provide comprehensive services in a locked 24/7 setting, which include: Medication monitoring and education, Individual counseling, Group interventions, Family involvement in discharge planning, Admissions and diagnostic/screening tools, Safety planning and Suicide prevention, and Skills development.
