What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Sous Chef – Banquets assists the Executive Banquet Chef in the planning, preparation, and execution of all banquet culinary operations. This position plays a critical role in delivering exceptional food quality and presentation for meetings, conferences, weddings, social events, and resort functions while maintaining efficiency, consistency, and financial performance

Essential Responsibilities

· Supervise banquet food production and event execution.

· Lead culinary teams during banquet setup, service, and breakdown.

· Ensure consistency and quality of all banquet menu items.

· Coordinate production timelines with banquet and event teams.

· Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion standards.

· Assist with labor planning and scheduling.

· Train and develop banquet culinary team members.

· Support inventory controls, ordering, and product management.

· Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards.

· Assist with menu tastings, special events, and VIP functions.

What are we looking for?

· Minimum 2–4 years of culinary supervisory experience.

· Previous banquet or catering experience preferred.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Ability to perform effectively in high-volume event environments.

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as required.
