Description
ABOUT WELLIO
Wellbeing and mental health issues are rising globally. Around 40% of young people have experienced a mental health disorder in the past year alone, so chances are you know someone who has been affected.
At Wellio, we help schools put wellbeing at the heart of every student's school experience. We believe improving youth mental health is one of the most important challenges of our time.
Wellio is building the world's first Wellbeing Management System, bringing the best of student wellbeing practice into one simple platform. We help schools teach wellbeing consistently, identify students who may be struggling earlier, coordinate support and continuously improve student outcomes.
And it's working.
Today, Wellio powers wellbeing programs in 1,000 schools across 25 countries, supporting millions of students. We're on track to complete our fourth consecutive year of 100% growth, and we're just getting started.
It shouldn't matter which school you attend. Every student should have access to the best tools and support to thrive. Our mission is big and important - and that's why we're looking for the very best people to help us achieve it.
THE ROLE AND THE TEAM
As Wellio’s first dedicated Revenue Operations Manager, you will build the systems, data and processes that connect Marketing, Sales and Customer Success across Australia, the UK and our international markets.
We’ve grown quickly, and parts of our infrastructure need to catch up. Processes differ between regions, reporting can require manual reconciliation, and important operational knowledge lives with individuals. Your initial focus will be to address the highest-impact gaps, establish trusted commercial data and make our core revenue processes more reliable.
This is a hands-on role. You will design the approach and get directly into HubSpot, reporting, workflows, integrations and automation to implement it. You’ll need to make progress while the business keeps moving, balancing immediate improvements with foundations that can support Wellio beyond $20–30 million in revenue.
You’ll work closely with the founders and leaders across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and Finance. Functional leaders own commercial strategy, people, targets and results. You will bring analysis and recommendations, challenge assumptions constructively, and turn agreed decisions into systems and ways of working that teams can use consistently.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Establish trusted commercial data. Own HubSpot architecture, data models, lifecycle stages and data quality. Agree clear metric definitions and authoritative sources across CRM, customer, product and finance data so teams can work from consistent numbers.
- Build reporting that supports action. Create shared scorecards and dashboards that show performance against plan, identify emerging risks and help leaders understand what needs attention. Establish reliable inputs and processes for forecasting, renewal and expansion planning.
- Improve the end-to-end customer journey. Standardise core processes and handoffs across Marketing, Sales and Customer Success, including routing, onboarding, adoption, renewal and expansion. Preserve regional differences where they serve a clear purpose.
- Own and improve the commercial technology stack. Take responsibility for GTM tools, integrations, licences, access and adoption. Currently we use Hubspot, Clay, GRW and Claude, amongst others. Build and repair workflows, reduce time spent on manual tasks, and ensure critical processes are documented and monitored.
- Make Wellio genuinely AI-first across go-to-market. Lead the development and adoption of practical AI-enabled workflows and a shared commercial knowledge base so prospect and customer interactions compound into insight the wider company can use. Own commercial AI priorities, implementation and governance, with clear evaluation and human accountability, partnering with technical leadership on company-wide architecture and security.
- Support commercial planning and execution. Give leaders reliable analysis of customer segments, market opportunity, capacity, pipeline and performance. As the foundations mature, strengthen the planning processes that translate commercial priorities into coordinated action.
- Help leaders focus on what matters most. Maintain a prioritised RevOps roadmap with leadership, coordinate cross-functional improvements and support key commercial meetings with trusted analysis and clear follow-through. Work with teams to ensure new processes are understood and adopted.
WHAT YOU BRING
- A track record of building. You have created or materially improved revenue operations in a scaling SaaS business. You can explain what you personally built, the decisions you made and the difference it created.
- Strong technical fundamentals and hands-on capability. You are confident working directly in HubSpot and deeply understand CRM architecture, data models, lifecycle design, reporting, workflows and integrations. You can diagnose problems and implement durable fixes.
- Commercial understanding across the customer journey. You understand the needs of Marketing, Sales and Customer Success, including acquisition, onboarding, retention and expansion, and can connect operational improvements to business outcomes.
- Sound judgement and disciplined prioritisation. You can take an important but loosely defined problem, determine what matters and deliver practical improvements quickly. You know when to fix the immediate issue and when a stronger foundation is needed.
- Credibility and collaboration. You build trust with functional leaders, challenge assumptions constructively and secure buy-in for changes. You can establish consistent standards while understanding the realities of the teams using them.
- Experience leading AI implementation. You have personally built and led the adoption of AI-enabled workflows in a commercial environment, with measurable improvements in how teams work. You can identify valuable use cases, connect reliable data and customer context, evaluate quality and establish appropriate governance. You can explain what you implemented, how you secured adoption and what changed as a result.
- Motivation to build at Wellio’s stage. You are comfortable with ambiguity, pace and imperfect infrastructure, and want meaningful ownership of improving it. The opportunity to support better wellbeing outcomes for young people matters to you.
WHY JOIN WELLIO
- Shape the function from the beginning. As our first dedicated RevOps hire, you’ll have meaningful autonomy to establish the systems, standards and ways of working that underpin our next stage of growth.
- Work directly with the founders. You’ll partner closely with commercial leaders, with real influence over priorities and visibility of how your work improves the business.
- Build across international markets. Your work will connect teams across Australia, the UK and our international markets, creating foundations that can support expansion into future regions.
- Contribute to a mission that matters. You’ll help Wellio bring better wellbeing education and support to more schools and young people around the world.
- Transparency: we share everything internally because high trust creates a great culture, and understanding the business helps people make better decisions.
- We don't take ourselves too seriously: we care enormously about our mission and hold exceptionally high standards, but we believe doing great work is easier when people can laugh, be themselves and enjoy the ride. Expect plenty of ambition and a healthy dose of weird.
