We are seeking an innovative, results-driven General Manager at WSKY’s to lead our Stadium venue. This individual will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, guest satisfaction, team development, community engagement, and overall business growth.

Position Summary

The General Manager is responsible for the overall financial, operational, and strategic success of the WSKY Stadium venue. This position serves as the primary leader for Stadium operations and team members, providing direction for both day-to-day execution and long-term business development.

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the venue, including food and beverage operations, team member development, guest experience, marketing initiatives, promotions, special events, community partnerships, and revenue generating opportunities.

This role requires a highly entrepreneurial and hands-on leader who can identify opportunities, develop creative solutions, and execute strategies that enhance the guest experience while maximizing revenue and profitability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, develop, and inspire WSKY’s team members and leadership teams across all functional areas.
  • Foster a positive, accountable, collaborative, and high performing work environment.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and retain top talent while building a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and administer corrective action in accordance with company policies.
  • Promote and reinforce the company's Core Values, culture, and commitment to exceptional service.
  • Lead by example and maintain a visible, engaged presence throughout the venue.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee all aspects of daily WSKY’s operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, service excellence, and profitability.
  • Ensure operational standards, policies, procedures, and company expectations are consistently implemented and followed.
  • Maintain exceptional standards for food quality, presentation, cleanliness, service, and overall venue appearance.
  • Collaborate closely with Front of House and Back of House leadership to deliver outstanding guest experience.
  • Monitor operational performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and service.
  • Serve as the primary operational leader responsible for overall venue performance and execution.

Financial Management

  • Develop, manage, and achieve financial objectives, including revenue, labor, and operating expense budgets.
  • Analyze financial reports, key performance indicators, and Profit & Loss statements to drive informed business decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, control costs, improve efficiency, and maximize profitability.
  • Oversee inventory, purchasing, food costs, and product par levels to support operational and financial goals.
  • Maintain financial accountability across all operational departments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve financial performance and long-term business growth.

Marketing & Business Development

  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and community outreach programs designed to increase guest traffic, revenue, and brand awareness.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth and increased market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and strategic partners.
  • Collaborate with company leadership to develop innovative revenue-generating programs, promotions, and events.
  • Drive guest engagement through creative, brand-aligned marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to strengthen the Stadium's competitive position.

Events & Venue Activation

  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of special events, private functions, promotions, and venue activations.
  • Ensure events are executed at the highest levels of quality, service, safety, and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop event strategies designed to increase revenue, community engagement, and brand recognition.
  • Partner with internal departments and external stakeholders to successfully execute events and create memorable guest experiences.
  • Evaluate event performance and identify opportunities for future improvement and growth.

Guest Experience

  • Champion a culture of hospitality that delivers a deliberately different experience to every guest.
  • Establish and maintain high standards for service, hospitality, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Proactively address guest concerns and implement effective solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Monitor guest feedback and identify opportunities to improve the overall guest experience.
  • Build guest loyalty through exceptional service and consistent execution.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the Stadium brand and the company.

Compliance, Safety & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Southern Nevada Health District regulations, food safety requirements, and company policies.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests and team members.
  • Ensure all required licenses, permits, certifications, and regulatory requirements remain current and compliant.
  • Uphold company standards related to safety, sanitation, risk management, security, and workplace practices.
  • Address operational risks promptly and implement appropriate corrective measures.

Technology & Additional Responsibilities

  • Become proficient in all restaurant and venue technology systems, including POS platforms, inventory systems, ordering software, and other business management technologies.
  • Utilize technology and reporting tools to improve operational efficiency, financial performance, and decision making.
  • Support cross functional initiatives and provide leadership across operational areas as needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience within the food and beverage, restaurant, hospitality, entertainment, event, or related industry.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of culinary leadership or chef experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large teams and multiple operational functions.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant and venue operations, inventory management, purchasing, food preparation, sanitation standards, and labor management.
  • Proven experience analyzing and managing Profit & Loss statements and financial performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operating expenses while achieving revenue and profitability goals.
  • Experience with restaurant technology, POS systems, inventory controls, ordering platforms, and business management software.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and during special events as business needs require.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Food Handler Safety Training Card and Non-Gaming Work Card.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and business management software.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading operations within a sports venue, entertainment venue, event driven business, restaurant, hospitality environment, or other multi-revenue operation.
  • Experience developing and executing marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and community engagement programs.
  • Background in event planning, venue management, or special event execution.
  • Demonstrated success in increasing revenue, improving profitability, and developing new business opportunities.
  • Experience building strategic partnerships within the local community.
