Description
Orthodontic Care Specialist – Chattanooga, TN
A growing dental practice is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Orthodontist to join its clinical team. The Orthodontist will provide comprehensive orthodontic care, diagnose dental and facial irregularities, and develop individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve healthy, functional, and well-aligned smiles.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose, and treat dental malocclusions and orthodontic conditions
- Develop individualized orthodontic treatment plans
- Review patient medical and dental histories, X-rays, and photographs
- Plan and oversee orthodontic treatments using braces, retainers, and other appliances
- Fit and adjust orthodontic appliances
- Prepare treatment records and provide treatment recommendations
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment options and expectations
- Collaborate with dental professionals and support staff to provide high-quality patient care
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree
- MSD or Certificate in Orthodontics
- Valid dental/orthodontic license or eligibility for licensure in the applicable state
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality orthodontic care
