About the team
The Kinaxis training and enablement team creates engaging, high-impact learning experiences that help customers realize maximum value from Kinaxis solutions. We also equip partners and internal teams with the knowledge and skills needed to drive customer success and product adoption.
As a contract Curriculum Developer on this team, you will design and develop training content that simplifies complex supply chain concepts and helps learners build expertise on Kinaxis solutions. Working closely with subject matter experts and cross functional experts, you will create high quality learning content, hands on labs, and assessments that support our global learning strategy. This role is for someone who can hit the ground running, quickly build the technical expertise needed and deliver against an active road map

What you will do
- Analyze learner roles, training needs, and workflows to define learning objectives and appropriate training solutions
- Design and develop engaging learning experiences and supporting assets, including e-learning, instructor-led training (ILT), virtual ILT (vILT), performance support tools, hands-on labs, assessments, and knowledge checks that align with learning objectives and real-world product workflows
- Build and validate hands-on labs and technical exercises that let learners practice real product workflows in a live environment
- Apply instructional design best practices, adult learning principles, Bloom's Taxonomy, and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA to design and develop training
- Collaborate with product experts, instructors, and other stakeholders across business units to gather information, validate technical content, and incorporate feedback
- Manage assigned curriculum development projects, including schedules, quality, standards, deliverables, dependencies, stakeholder reviews, and progress reporting
- Develop content to our established standards, templates, and style guide so that what you build is consistent with the rest of our catalog
- Document your work and hand off cleanly, ensuring source files, lab configurations, and content decisions are captured for ongoing maintenance
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent professional experience in instructional design, education, computer science, engineering, communications, or a related field
- Four or more years of experience in developing curriculum, technical training, learning content, or courseware
- Experience designing learning solutions including e-learning, instructor-led training, hands-on labs, technical simulations, and assessments for enterprise software or technology products
- Strong technical aptitude and a track record of learning complex products quickly enough to teach them
- Strong knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles, with experience designing and developing objective-driven and outcome-driven curriculum and assessments, and technical writing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Project management skills including planning, tracking, and coordinating deliverables, with proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet quality and timeline expectations
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
- Strong interest and ability to adopt AI tools in day-to-day work; experience with prompt engineering and AI-assisted content development is a strong plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing e-learning using modern authoring tools such as Rise 360, Camtasia, or similar platforms
- Experience with virtual lab or sandbox platforms such as CloudShare or similar
- Familiarity with the Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms, such as Docebo or similar platforms
- Knowledge of supply chain management, enterprise software, ERP, or SaaS products is an advantage
- Experience with Kinaxis Maestro is a strong plus
- Prior experience in a contract or consulting capacity, delivering into an existing team and process
