Role Summary

We're looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join our Wholesale Banking Operations team. In this role, you will support Know Your Customer (KYC) activities for Financial Institution and Corporate clients, partnering with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure required documentation is collected, validated, and processed in accordance with ING policies and regulatory requirements.

About the Team

The KYC Client Outreach team acts as a critical link between our clients and internal teams, including Customer Domain Units (CDUs), Front Office, Compliance, and Operations. We work together to ensure KYC reviews and onboarding activities are completed efficiently, accurately, and with a strong focus on customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage client outreach activities and upcoming KYC review schedules.
  • Engage with clients to collect required KYC documentation and information.
  • Review submitted documents for completeness and reasonableness.
  • Ensure documentation is accurately maintained and delivered to the relevant processing teams.
  • Support clients in understanding KYC, AML, FATCA, CRS, and ESR requirements.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to facilitate smooth KYC execution and regulatory compliance.
  • Contribute to a strong control environment while delivering an excellent client experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Fluency in English and Korean, both written and spoken.
  • At least 5 years of experience in KYC
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across teams and with colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to challenge constructively.
  • University degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
