Automotive Service Greeter - Honda of Downtown Chicago

Honda of Downtown Chicago, part of the Murgado Automotive Group, is hiring a friendly, dependable Automotive Service Greeter to welcome service customers and help keep our service drive running smoothly. This is a customer-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and creating a positive first impression.

Location: Chicago, IL | Job Type: Full-time | Schedule: Dealership/service department hours; schedule may include weekdays and Saturdays

What You’ll Do

Greet customers: Welcome guests as they arrive in the service drive and create a professional, helpful first impression.

Direct traffic: Assist with vehicle flow in the service lane and help customers find the right advisor or waiting area.

Support the service team: Communicate with service advisors, technicians, and porters to help provide a smooth customer experience.

Answer basic questions: Provide clear, friendly assistance and connect customers with the appropriate team member when needed.

Keep areas organized: Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming service drive and customer waiting area.

Represent the dealership: Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and a customer-first attitude every day.

 

What We’re Looking For

Customer service mindset: Friendly, patient, and professional with strong communication skills.

Dependability: Reliable attendance, punctuality, and the ability to stay focused in a busy service environment.

Organization: Ability to multitask, follow directions, and prioritize customer needs.

Valid driver’s license: A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Experience: Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, or automotive experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
