JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a detail-oriented Team lead with in-depth knowledge of carbon accounting, credit/offsets and reporting standards, and bio-fuel certification schemes such as the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification standards (ISCC) and Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB) to join our team. As the SCT Team lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and procedures in our Infrastructure projects, as well as contribute your know-how of renewable energy and biofuels industries in our business.

  • Audit Management: Work with external auditors to coordinate and conduct desk and on-site audits, oversee periodic certification renewals, and manage corrective action plans throughout end-to-end supply chain for various sites/projects. Participate in internal quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of auditing.
  • Supply Chain Traceability: Verify chain of custody records, ensuring that sustainable material outputs match sustainable inputs across the supply chain. Expertise in environmental management systems
  • GHG & Mass Balance: Calculate and review life-cycle emissions and manage complex mass balance book-keeping systems. Analyze data and documentation to verify adherence to ISCC principles
  • Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements for global sustainability frameworks (like EU RED II or CORSIA), and stay up-to-date with changes in relevant standards, regulations, and industry best practices. Interpret and implement updates on international fuel blending mandates, sustainability policies, and trade documentation.
  • Team building: You are to build a team up gradually with the know-how to manage ISCC related certification needs for various interested molecules across the projects (such as Biomethane, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), etc).
  • Stakeholder Guidance: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Provide continuous guidance to suppliers and clients on ISCC EU/PLUS compliance and documentation, and other equivalent frameworks. Collaborate with clients to develop corrective action plans and monitor their implementation.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as required for on-site audits.
  • Business Development & Partnering: You will work with the BDP team to prepare SCT commercial proposals for prospective clients. Ability to work independently and as part of a team would be crucial.
  • Any other works/due diligence assigned by the department head.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or Agriculture, or related fields.
  • Certifications: Mandatory completion of official ISCC Basic Training (EU and PLUS), ISO-related certifications or other sustainability certifications will be a bonus. Where certification needs extended beyond ISCC in future, you may be nominated for training to upskill accordingly.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of direct experience in sustainability auditing, quality management, or supply chain logistics.
  • Skills: Strong data-analysis capabilities (Excel or AI), attention to detail, and excellent client-facing communication.
