Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and providing high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' anatomy.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Administer contrast agents as needed and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks associated with MRI procedures.
- Stay updated on advancements in MRI technology and best practices.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Requires regular and predictable attendance
