1 - First ShiftJob Summary
Are you the type of person who likes heavy equipment and who enjoys teaching operators how to be more productive? In this role you will serve as an skills expert on Vermeer products. We’re looking for a person that has a fundamental knowledge of industrial equipment and jobsites to help us teach an ever growing demand of skilled labor.What You’ll Do
1. Work with contractors, industry partners, product support and training teams to determine product and skills content needs and expectations.
2. Build training content that simplifies complex concepts by use of fundamental equipment and jobsite knowledge.
3. Balance information, resources and deadlines to produce timely and impactful product training content.
4. Use of fundamental computer and application skills (such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
5. Ability to write short technical scripts that can be voice over for educational videos.
6. Structure in-person learning environments for skills training events that can be 1-5 days in length.
7. Deliver training content to skills audiences in ways that are engaging and educational.
8. Ability to use hands-on demonstrations and simulation as needed to accomplish learning goals.
9. Ability to evaluate class participation/environment and adjust as needed.
10. Provide student feedback through report cards.
11. Monitor industry training trends and participate in team meetings to provide insights.
What We’re Looking For
- Associates degree and two years industry experience preferred.
- Ability to acquire a Class A CDL license.
- Fundamental knowledge of equipment and jobsites.
- PowerPoint, Excel, Word, public speaking.
- English language or Bilingual with Spanish.
Travel
- Occasional travel is expected of this position.
Work Location
