Description
Key Responsibilities
-
Lead end-to-end IT application projects, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and in line with business and IT standards.

Coordinate and manage internal teams, external vendors, and service providers to drive successful implementation and rollout of application solutions.

Oversee the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of key enterprise applications, ensuring they remain reliable, secure, and aligned with business requirements.

Own service quality for assigned applications, including incident and problem management, SLA monitoring, root cause analysis, and follow-up corrective actions.

Develop and enforce application-related policies, procedures, and documentation to strengthen governance and operational discipline.

Provide technical guidance and support to the team, helping to troubleshoot complex issues and acting as an escalation point for critical incidents.

Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into practical, scalable IT solutions that support growth and efficiency.

Collaborate with global IT teams to harmonize standards, share best practices, and ensure regional applications are integrated and well supported

Manage a mix of internal and external technical resources, including remote teams, and coach team members to build skills and improve performance.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes, tools, and applications to better support evolving customer and market needs.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Over 10 years of broad IT experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role leading application teams and operations.

Proven track record in managing ERP or other enterprise-class application environments, covering full application and software development lifecycles.

Experience in apparel sourcing, retail, or supply chain environments is a strong advantage, especially in regional or global setups.

Hands-on exposure to Microsoft technologies, with prior involvement in SQL, SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS design, development, or upgrade projects.

Solid understanding of both Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies, with practical experience applying them to application projects

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and remain calm under pressure.

Demonstrated ability to build trust with business stakeholders and to lead cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to explain technical issues in a clear, business-friendly way
