About the Role
A forward-thinking medical billing company is on a mission to shake up the industry — leveraging AI and a fully integrated healthcare software ecosystem to eliminate manual labor and paper-based workflows. They have the industry knowledge and the client base; now they need the technical visionary to build the platform that brings it all together. This is a ground-up builder role for someone who geeks out on software, loves AI tools, and wants to leave a real mark on healthcare billing.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Architecture & Development
- Design and build an integrated platform that unifies the full healthcare billing workflow
- Architect scalable systems that connect all moving parts of the operation
- Lead technical decision-making from the ground up
AI & Automation
- Implement AI tools to slash manual and paper-based processes
- Identify and deploy emerging software solutions to keep the company ahead of the curve
- Drive automation across billing, documentation, and operational workflows
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and manage the technical team with both authority and approachability
- Work closely with clinical and operational stakeholders to align tech with business needs
- Bridge the gap between technical execution and client-facing outcomes
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CTO, Head of Engineering, or senior technical architect
- Hands-on builder — comfortable getting into the weeds, not just managing from above
- Deep experience integrating AI tools and building software ecosystems
- Background in healthcare tech or medical billing strongly preferred
- Strong people skills — able to lead teams and work cross-functionally
- Innovative, self-driven, and eager to take initiative
