Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the new construction project planning process.
- Establish project objectives, scope and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and ensuring alignment with user requirements.
- Prepare new project Space, Cost & schedule report & long-term plan reports for management review.
- Develop and manage initial project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.
- Maintain effective communication with project team members and respective stakeholders to provide project updates/ reporting, address concerns and foster strong working relationships between team members.
- Ensure Roles, Responsibilities and Accountabilities are fully understood by the project team members.
- Collect, classify, and evaluate data and information used in supporting the Micron new construction project planning evaluation request.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- The candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field from a recognised institute of higher learning.
- Experience in Project Program management / Planning / Schedule Control is highly valued.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management. Fresh Grads are welcome to apply.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, Construction Project management software, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Good analytical skills with problem solving aptitude.
- Ability to integrate, work collaboratively and proactively in a team environment.
- Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Relevant professional certification in project management or construction management, like Project Management Professional (PMP) or LEED certification.
Minimum Experience & Skills:
- 3 years’ experience in large-scale construction projects, preferably in Semiconductor Fab construction or related Facilities construction in high tech/ Pharmaceutical/ Oil & Gas industries. Fresh Grads are welcome to apply.
- Demonstrable experience in the Construction or Semiconductor Project Management and/or other relevant industries is strongly preferred.
- Strong financial understanding and experience in project cost estimate/ budgeting/ cost control.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations, permits and approval processes will be highly valued.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to visualize issues and communicate them clearly to others.
- Strong organization, coordination, and leadership skills – ability to coordinate and motivate stakeholders from different departments and background.
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and proactively in a team environment.
