Leveraged Finance Capital Markets Desk - Analyst

As a Capital Markets Senior Analyst on the Leveraged Finance team, you will play a pivotal role connecting our investment banking and markets businesses while supporting a diverse range of clients. Your analyses and insights will directly inform senior decision-makers and be shared with corporate clients, financial sponsors, and Citi leadership. We seek driven, professional, and highly collaborative individuals to join our close-knit team, offering meaningful exposure to senior professionals across Leveraged Finance Capital Markets, Origination, and Credit Sales & Trading.

Responsibilities:

• Organizing and analyzing sophisticated financial data used in client proposals and strategic plans
• Providing support on day-to-day activity and live transactions, including Leveraged Loans, High Yield Bonds, and Private Debt for financing purposes including leveraged buyouts, M&A, refinancings, and recapitalizations
• Creating summary materials on market conditions
• Evaluate company’s financial performance compared to overall industry and market trends

Recommended Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in Leveraged Finance, Capital Markets, or a related field
• Series 7, 79 and 63 licenses
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and work ethic
• Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment in order to meet deadlines
• Team-oriented attitude
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
• Intellectual curiosity

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree
