Lead Janitor

Essential Job Functions:

• Must be able to perform essential functions and meet minimum work standards with, or without accommodation.
• Responsible for successful new hire training via established procedures
• Provide ongoing feedback to department members
• Help coordinate and schedule work to ensure all tasks are completed by the daily deadlines
• Help maintain daily work flow
• Help ensure a safe working environment
• Janitorial job functions

  Manually empties trash containers in plant, offices and outside loading dock area

  Sweeps, dry mops, scrubs, and waxes all floors throughout plant and offices, visually analyzing work to ensure quality job performance

  Washes down all walls

  Cleans washers, motors, electrical panels, fans, motors, etc.

  Cleans boiler room

  Cleans all lights in plant

  Cleans up all oil spills and water spills as necessary

  Cleans exhaust fan screens in all fans in plant

  Picks up trash in and outside of the building

  Secures building when not in operation

  Other duties as assigned

• Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Must follow established quality and safety standards.
• Assist with associate engagement activities such as popcorn Tuesday, Hot dog Friday as needed
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum five years of healthcare related janitorial experience
• High School Diploma
• Effective oral and written communications
• Ability to provide attention to details
• Work well under pressure
