Position Overview:

 

The Reset Supervisor plays a vital role in building connections with our associates and customers by exemplifying our core SPIRIT values: Service, Pride, Integrity, Results, Innovation, and Teamwork. This position is responsible for overseeing small-scale setup and remodeling projects. The Reset Supervisor ensures that the team accurately places and assembles fixtures, shelves, and product arrangements, including labels and signage, according to the specifications outlined in CAD renderings and planograms.

The Reset Supervisor leads a team of up to 10 WIS associates to ensure that customer projects are completed on time and within budget. As the designated on-site leader for WIS employees, the Reset Supervisor directly supervises the team throughout the project. The RS engages with leadership to escalate any issues, including employee discipline matters, safety concerns, or challenges that may impact the project's financial success.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • On-site responsibility for the quality, productivity, and management of a team of up to 10 associates and crew members
  • Reports directly to the Division Manager.
  • Must be available to work onsite for the entire duration of assigned projects, which may vary in length.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and company safety standards at all times.
  • Successfully lead in-person reset projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Make project decisions and adjustments as needed, prioritizing team safety, addressing associates' concerns, and maintaining strong financial accountability.
  • Inspect completed work by both contractors and team members to ensure that customer goals and expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Complete all required paperwork, including internal, external, and client-specific documentation.

 Required Qualifications & Skills: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 (Three) Years of Reset or Retail experience
  • Ability to communicate with Store Managers, contractors, and crew members through the entire reset project in a positive, productive, and professional manner
  • Proven strong people leadership skills in a large-scale multi-team environment
  • Ability to effectively train employees in a friendly and efficient manner, focused on delivering exceptional results while moving from one project to another
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve challenges as they occur with a focus on escalation, finding solutions, and resolution
  • Comfort in working with varied computer or reporting systems, based on customer need
  • Excellent organizational skills and proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrates an ongoing commitment to SPIRIT values of Service, Pride Integrity, Results, Innovation, and Teamwork
  • A valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and/or meeting the Fleet driver requirements are required, as well as access to reliable transportation.

 Preferred Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Associate’s degree
  • Experience leading and developing successful teams through focused guidance, coaching and feedback delivery
  • Experience reading CAD renderings and planograms with the ability to make project decisions or alterations based on shifting priorities
  • Experience working with hand tools and small electric tools for use in fixture assembly

 

Working Conditions:

 

This position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time; the ability to use both hands and wrists for repetitive motions. It is also required to frequently be in low-level positions, such as squatting, kneeling, or crouching, as well as frequent standing in a construction environment; the ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs. Frequent travel is required via plane or automobile, including overnight stays (up to 100% of the time)
