Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics for projects located in or around the Cocoa, FL area. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Sheet Metal Installer and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
- Assisting with HVAC unit swap outs including removal of existing rooftop units and installation of new systems
- Ruining PVC drain lines and copper refrigerant lines according to specifications
- Assisting with hanging sheet metal ductwork
- Installing hangers and supports for duct systems
- Performing basic on-site fabrication as needed
- Work across multiple job sites throughout the county as projects progress
Requirements:
- Must have previous HVAC and/or sheet metal installation experience
- Must have knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints
- Must have own sheet metal and/or HVAC tools
- All PPE must be worn at all times on site
- Must have a clean background to access secured job sites (including jail facilities)
- Must be capable of obtaining a JLA badge or already have a current badge
- Must be reliable and able to adapt to different project locations
