The main responsibility of this position is to deliver quantifiable improvement results in the form of Quality, Safety, Delivery & Cost within assigned Value Stream.

About the job:

• Utilizing Value Stream Mapping, drive continuous improvement across Production/Administration processes in the areas of Quality, Safety, Delivery & Cost through Kaizens & Lean Six Sigma projects.
• Provide leadership in the execution of projects within the assigned Value Stream. Provide project expertise in the form of Lean Six Sigma tools & methodologies. Review and monitor project progress to assure quality and adherence to project and company objectives.
• Mentor Lean Small Group Activities, projects & events
• Support a Lean specialty sub-committee, and become a Subject Matter Expert in the focused area.
• Personal development through LF training, self-improvement research, and benchmarking / networking activities.

About you:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in a Lean Six Sigma capacity
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong ability to communicate across different levels and across departments of the organization
• Strong mathematical aptitude
• Strong project management skills
• Strong systems perspective
• Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt certification or ability to achieve within LF in 18-months
• Demonstrated experience in applying Lean Six Sigma tools & concepts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• MS Office, including MS Project
• Minitab an advantage
