Position Title: Ocean Freight Export Officer
Working Location: Toh Guan
Working Hours: 5 days (Monday – Friday, 08:15 AM – 15:30 PM)
Salary Package: Basic Salary + Bonus
Duration: Permanent Role
Key Responsibilities
Manage sea export shipments and ensure customer requirements and documentation are accurate
Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards
Prepare and process export documents (e.g., HBL, MBL, manifest, customs declarations) on time
Perform general shipping duties, including system data entry and resolving shipment issues
Communicate with customers, shipping lines, transport teams, and overseas offices for smooth deliveries
Ensure timely billing and collection of related charges
Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints
Prepare payment vouchers, verify vendor costs, and maintain shipment files
Follow up on short-landed, damaged, or discrepancy cargo
Coordinate with various parties (warehouse, carriers, insurance, customs, etc.) based on shipment needs
Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Diploma qualification
Knowledge of freight forwarding, export/import procedures, or permit declarations
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Willing to work overtime when required
Strong analytical skills and able to work independently and in a team
