The Welding QC Inspector is responsible for executing welding inspection, surveillance, and quality control activities onsite, ensuring all operations are performed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures.
Job Title: Welding QC Inspector
Location: Offshore – Worldwide (currently in Europe)
Rotation: 56/28 (EU/UK/South Africa/South America) or 90/30 (TCN)
Employment Type: Contract
Start Date: June 2026 (approx.)
Key Responsibilities
· Execute welding inspections and quality control activities in accordance with Quality Control Plans and Inspection Test Plans
· Monitor welding operations to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and procedures
· Verify welding parameters, consumables, and equipment suitability
· Check welder qualifications and ensure proper certification compliance
· Perform visual inspections and issue quality reports
· Ensure compliance of welding, heat treatment, and hardness testing activities
· Conduct pipeline fit-up and alignment checks ensuring material traceability
· Monitor repair activities and ensure corrective actions are implemented when required
· Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all quality records are properly compiled for final dossiers
· Supervise subcontractor activities and ensure adherence to approved quality procedures
Qualifications & Certifications (Mandatory)
· Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
· Minimum 3 years of offshore pipeline construction or hook-up experience
· CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent (e.g., IWI certification)
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification preferred
· English language proficiency (minimum B1 level)
· Strong understanding of welding procedures, standards, and offshore quality control practices

· Contract duration until end of 2026 (renewable based on project needs)
· 12 hours per day / 7 days per week
