Description
As a Field Technician at Outlast LLC, you will play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality construction services on job sites. You’ll work directly in the field supporting various construction tasks, coordinating with project supervisors, and ensuring that work gets done safely, efficiently, and to Outlast’s standards. This is a fully onsite role requiring travel to different project locations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of construction-related tasks, including demolition, framing, drywall, insulation, painting, and finish carpentry.Assist in the installation of decks, fences, cabinets, countertops, and other project components.Operate basic tools and equipment (hand tools, power tools, ladders, etc.) safely and effectively.Load, unload, and handle construction materials, supplies, and equipment.Follow blueprints, diagrams, or written instructions to understand project requirements.Maintain cleanliness and order at job sites, performing general site cleanup and waste disposal.Support quality control by inspecting completed work, identifying defects or issues, and reporting them to supervisors.Adhere to all safety protocols, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following company and regulatory safety standards.Communicate regularly with project supervisors about progress, materials needs, and any on-site challenges.Coordinate with other field staff, subcontractors, and vendors as needed to keep projects on schedule. QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Previous experience in construction, remodeling, or handyman services (1–3 years preferred).Familiarity with construction tools, techniques, and best practices.Ability to read and interpret basic project plans, blueprints, and work orders.Strong physical stamina; ability to lift heavy materials (e.g., 50+ lbs), stand for long periods, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify issues on-site.Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if required to travel between job sites).Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (if required).Commitment to safety and willingness to attend safety trainings. Work Environment & ConditionsFully onsite role; work locations vary depending on active projects.May require early starts, overtime, or weekend work depending on project timelines.Fieldwork involves outdoor tasks and exposure to different weather conditions.Must use required personal protective equipment and follow company safety policies.
