Our team is growing and we are actively looking for qualified individuals to help join us in positively changing the lives of children and their families!Pivotal ABA Therapy offers individualized treatment programs using the science of Applied Behavior Analysis in a safe and enriching center based setting for children ages 1-10 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are seeking a qualified individual to fulfil a full time position opening at our newly updated facility conveniently located in Stow, Ohio.Website: http://pivotalabatherapy.comPosition Requirements:- At least 18 years of age- Possess a minimum of a High School Diploma or the equivalent, a bachelor’s degree (or working towards) in any of the related fields is preferred: education, special education, psychology, or speech pathology preferred though not required- Pass a current FBI and BCI background check- Obtain at least 2 years in working with children, preferably children with special needs- A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred, though not required.Professional Role Responsibilities:- Provide direct 1:1 service delivery to children diagnosed with autism in a center based setting using the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).- Implement skill acquisition and behavior intervention protocols as directed and trained by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).- Accurately collect, record, and summarize data on targeted behaviors and skills- Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with client’s individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans and as directed by the team's supervisor (when ready)- Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress- Maintain client confidentiality at all times, inside and outside of the work place- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.- Collaborate with child’s team including other staff and parent or caregivers- Attend team meetings when scheduled by the overseeing BCBA/BCaBA or clinical director- Maintain professional development and growth in the field by attending required company trainings- Obtain a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential within the company's time requirements and continue to maintain certification by meeting on-going supervision requirements, adhering to the RBT ethics codes, self reporting and completing each year’s renewal process.
