Requiring a strong understanding of problem solving, engineering and reading from drawings, you must be a team player, efficiently manage your time and be personable to our customers. Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstallation of our prestigious lift products both locally and internationally.Closely follow Sesame’s detailed Method Statements whilst on site, capturing and reporting on issues and improvements in Pre and Post installation meetings.Assembly of products and components in the work shop from time to time.Implement process and production improvements where applicableQualifications & ExperienceExperience in mechanical engineering environmentsA professional, can do and solutions based approach to work.Comfortable reading engineering and technical drawingsOrganised and methodical in your approachGood communication skills, especially with ClientsDriving licenceEssentialAble to play leading and supporting roles within a teamEvidence of attention to detailProactive and able to work under their own initiativeProfessional presentation and appearanceDesirableWeldingStrong inter-personal skillsUnderstanding of hydraulics and/or electronicsPrevious experience on construction sitesMethodical worker / organised mindsetQC experienceProblem solvingWorking conditionsMost of this role is working away from home: International installs (2 weeks), UK based installs (1 week). Travel, hotel and subsistence is paid by Company. You will need to work Saturdays as required, but this is relatively unusualSuitable PPE for this work will be provided by the companyPhysical requirementsTransporting loads and standing for long periods throughout the dayThe suitable candidate should be in a physical state to allow for thisCompulsory Manual Handling Training is provided for all workshop based employeesAsbestos Awareness training will be provided for any applicable site workThe successful candidate will also undergo forklift training, arranged and funded by the companyCompany-wide profit-related bonus policy based on yearly productivity heavily influenced by builds and installs on time and within budget.Sesame Access Systems Ltd designs, fabricates and installs high quality bespoke disabled access stair lifts.
