Description
Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Machine Operator role in Portland, OR. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate and monitor machinery to ensure efficient and accurate production.
· Set up machines according to specifications, including calibration and adjustments.
· Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
· Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment.
· Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines.
· Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
· Load raw materials and remove finished products from machines.
· Identify and report equipment malfunctions or production issues.
· Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience is a plus.
· Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
· Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow instructions.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule & Pay:
· $17.00/hour
· Four 10-hour shifts (Monday–Thursday)
