SENIOR INVESTMENT OFFICER Introduction: An excellent opportunity has become available to join a leader in the Investment industry is looking for a Senior Investment Officer, based in Cape Town. Requirements:
• BCom degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related field with minimal level of Financial Accounting 2 or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience in business investment or a business finance related role
• Experience in auditing, banking, financial accounting and/or sales and marketing will be advantageous
• Possess the ability to build and maintain relationships, have strong negotiation skills, results focused, analytical with a strong financial background

Responsibilities:
• Conducting market research to identify potential clients and strategic partnerships for the Company
• Organising and participating in networking events, conferences, and industry forums to establish and strengthen business networks
• Assessing the financial health and potential risks of targeted companies through comprehensive due diligence
• Creating detailed financial models, including revenue projections, cost analysis, risk assessment, and return calculations to guide investment decisions
• Drafting comprehensive investment reports that communicate findings, risks, and potential returns to stakeholders
• Structuring and negotiating viable financing solutions with targeted companies to optimize returns for the Company based on the associated risk
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the broader SME market
• Monitoring and evaluating the performance of client portfolios
• Keeping abreast of industry regulations, market dynamics, and economic trends to adapt investment strategies accordingly
