Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Certification Consultant to join our growing team. This customer-facing role is responsible for supporting partners, software vendors, and solution providers through the technical certification process for payment acceptance solutions.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor throughout the integration lifecycle, providing technical guidance, validating solutions against certification requirements, and ensuring partners are successfully onboarded to our platforms.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong technical background, payments industry experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional partner experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Manage certification projects from initiation through to production approval.
Serve as the primary technical contact for partners during onboarding and certification.
Review integration designs and provide technical guidance on APIs, payment gateways, POS solutions, and value-added services.
Execute certification test plans and validate solution readiness.
Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Support teams to drive resolution.
Conduct technical workshops, partner enablement sessions, and certification reviews.
Ensure certified solutions meet applicable security, compliance, and business requirements.
Maintain accurate certification records and communicate project status to stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the partner onboarding experience and certification efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience in technical consulting, certification, solution engineering, integrations, or payments.
Strong understanding of API-based integrations and web technologies.
Experience troubleshooting technical issues across multiple systems.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within the payments, fintech, acquiring, or merchant services industry.
Knowledge of payment gateways, POS integrations, e-commerce solutions, and payment processing workflows.
Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, XML, webhooks, and authentication methods.
Experience using API testing tools such as Postman.
Understanding of PCI DSS, EMV, or card payment ecosystems.

Target Candidate Profile:
3-5 years in payments, fintech, software integrations, solution consulting, implementation, certification, or technical support.
Comfortable working with external partners and software vendors.
Able to explain technical concepts to both business and technical audiences.
Experience supporting payment gateway, POS, eCommerce, ISV, or PSP integrations would be highly desirable.
