Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Prevention in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a premier retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to guests, tenants, and staff. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, property concerns, access-control issues, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol records while communicating professionally with site management and local responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
