The Opportunity
Lead and grow a high-performing engineering project execution team within a global operations environment, driving successful delivery of GIS, HV product, and substation projects. How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of project professionals, fostering high performance and strong behavioral competencies.
- Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to align goals, drive collaboration, and ensure successful project execution.
- Conduct performance and development discussions, supporting team members in achieving both business objectives and career aspirations.
- Drive operational excellence by managing key performance metrics such as utilization, customer/stakeholder satisfaction (NPS), and resource productivity.
- Proactively plan workforce needs, lead recruitment, onboarding, and training activities to ensure project readiness.
- Facilitate effective decision-making, challenge and align stakeholder expectations when needed, and promote best practice sharing across teams.
- Ensure accurate resource billing and provide support for administrative activities including leave management, infrastructure, office requirements, and HR-related processes.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with preference for Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in project execution, including significant experience managing GIS, HV products, or substation projects.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with strong leadership capabilities and experience leading teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, align, and challenge decisions in the best interest of business goals and collaborative outcomes.
- Strong expertise in people management, talent development, workforce planning, and performance management.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills, with the ability to drive productive discussions across diverse teams.
- Experience working in a matrixed or global environment with accountability for operational and business performance metrics.
