  • Hands-on functional testing experience for React applications, Java/Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, backend services, and database-driven applications.
  • Hands-on automated testing experience using Playwright, including automated UI regression testing, test scripting, test execution, debugging, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on API testing experience using Postman and vREST, including test collection creation, environment configuration, assertions, regression execution, and API defect analysis.
  • Experience testing healthcare interoperability workflows using HL7v2, FHIR APIs, FHIR Subscriptions, SMART on FHIR, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, and Mirth integration engine.
  • Public Sector experience

Description:

The Senior Test Lead must have strong experience leading both functional testing and automated testing for complex healthcare applications. The role requires hands-on test automation using Playwright, API testing using Postman and vREST, and healthcare interoperability testing involving HL7v2, FHIR APIs, FHIR Subscriptions, SMART on FHIR, OAuth2/OIDC/JWT, Mirth integration engine, and hospital system integrations. The resource will plan, coordinate, execute, automate, and report on testing across frontend, backend, API, video platform, identity workflow, healthcare interoperability, HIS integration, accessibility, security, performance, regression, UAT, implementation readiness, and release-readiness areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the overall test strategy, test plan, test schedule, test scenarios, test cases, automation approach, and test execution approach for Virtual Care Product modernization.
  • Lead both manual functional testing and automated regression testing across frontend, backend, API, integration, and end-to-end workflows.
  • Design, build, maintain, and execute Playwright automated tests for key user journeys, regression coverage, smoke testing, and release validation.
  • Design, build, maintain, and execute Postman and vREST API test suites for REST APIs, FHIR APIs, SMART on FHIR workflows, FHIR Subscriptions, integration endpoints, and backend services.
  • Lead testing activities for retirement and replacement of legacy TSM-related functionality.
  • Plan and execute testing for video workflow capabilities, including Zoom API integration, Pexip API integration, waiting rooms, breakout workflows, participant/session management, video bridge workflows, provider workflows, patient workflows, and multi-party encounters.
  • Plan and execute testing for SMART on FHIR launch workflows, FHIR API integrations, FHIR Subscriptions, HL7v2 interfaces, Mirth integration engine flows, and HIS integration with MEDITECH, Epic, Cerner, or related systems.
  • Validate FHIR event-driven workflows, subscription notifications, topic/filter behaviour, endpoint delivery, payload content, retry/error handling, authorization, and downstream processing.
  • Validate integration with NetIQ workflows, authentication, authorization, identity-enabled workflows, and role/context-specific access patterns.
  • Coordinate functional, system integration, end-to-end, regression, smoke, automated regression, accessibility, security/privacy coordination, performance, UAT, implementation readiness, and release-readiness testing.
  • Create and maintain requirements traceability to ensure clinical, business, technical, integration, automation, privacy, security, accessibility, and operational requirements are tested.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
  • Lead defect triage meetings and provide clear reporting on defect trends, blockers, testing progress, automation coverage, failed automated tests, release risks, and go/no-go recommendations.
  • Work with development teams to support API testing, integration testing, interface testing, test automation, regression suite development, test data setup, and production validation.
  • Prepare test summary reports, automation execution reports, release readiness assessments, implementation validation plans, and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Support production implementation, warranty validation, and post-release defect investigation.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with systems such as Ocean, Novari, or similar referral platforms.
  • Experience with Epic, Cerner, MEDITECH, Mirth, HL7v2 validation, FHIR validation, FHIR Subscription testing, SMART on FHIR launch validation, OAuth/OIDC/JWT testing, Postman, vREST, and Playwright.
  • Experience testing Zoom APIs, Pexip APIs, virtual visit workflows, video bridge workflows, provider handoff workflows, waiting room workflows, breakout workflows, and multi-party clinical encounter flows.
  • Experience testing AWS OpenSearch, logging, monitoring, analytics, search validation, event processing, operational reporting, or production support dashboards in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience with CI/CD-based automated testing, automated regression suites, test evidence capture, test reporting dashboards, and release gates.
  • Experience with accessibility testing, privacy/security testing coordination, clinical stakeholder engagement, and release readiness for production healthcare systems.

Required Skills:

  • Test leadership, test planning, test coordination, test execution, reporting, and release readiness assessment.
  • Functional testing for healthcare applications, clinical workflows, provider workflows, patient workflows, scheduling workflows, and virtual care workflows.
  • Automated testing using Playwright, including UI test automation, regression automation, smoke test automation, debugging, and CI/CD integration.
  • API testing using Postman and vREST, including FHIR API testing, REST API testing, assertions, test data setup, collection management, and automated API regression execution.
  • Healthcare interoperability testing using HL7v2, FHIR, FHIR Subscriptions, SMART on FHIR, OAuth/OIDC/JWT, and Mirth integration engine.
  • HIS integration testing involving MEDITECH, Epic, Cerner, scheduling, encounter, provider, patient, and clinical data workflows.
  • Video platform integration testing involving Zoom APIs, Pexip APIs, waiting rooms, breakout workflows, video bridge workflows, session management, and participant workflows.
  • NetIQ workflow testing, authentication testing, authorization testing, and role/context-specific access testing.
  • Defect management, triage facilitation, test evidence collection, traceability, risk reporting, automation reporting, and go/no-go input.
  • Communication, stakeholder coordination, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
