About the opportunity

• Provide excellent and contemporary midwifery care to women attending the Perinatal Medicine Specialist Outpatient Clinic

• Compliment and support the strategic direction and management of the Perinatal Medicine Department.

• Co-ordinate and manage patient clinic appointments, referrals to internal and external specialists.

• Ensure complex management plans have been organised, and midwifery care and education has been provided

• Be part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team responsible for the care of high-risk pregnancies

• Respond to and effectively manage the day-to-day operation of the Perinatal Medicine Department in the absence of the Midwife Unit Manager

• Promote excellence in clinical practice and family centered care

• Previous experience working in Perinatal Medicine is desirable.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
