Key Responsibilities
- Work on a team assembling steel lattice tower structures for a transmission line project.
- Work around and as applicable operate heavy equipment such as: Skid Steers, Loaders, Zoom Boom
- Work safely around cranes and boom trucks.
- Complete general labour duties, including: Site preparation and cleanup, Steel shakeout and organization, Manual labour to support steel lattice tower assembly
- Conduct pre-trip and routine equipment inspections
- Follow all company safety policies and participate in daily safety meetings
- Work closely with crew members to meet production targets
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience with steel construction including rigging
- Experience working around and/or operating heavy equipment in construction or utility environments
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 1A or 3A considered an asset)
- Strong work ethic and ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
- Ability to read drawings and prints
- CSO/BSO, Fall Protection & GD2 training considered as asset
Work Conditions
- 14 days on, 7 days off, working 10-12 hour days.
- Overtime and steady rotational work
