The Public Relations Executive supports the development and execution of strategic communications initiatives for hotel.
This role is responsible for enhancing brand visibility through social media, media relations, content creation, and visual storytelling, including graphic design for campaigns and communications materials.
Working closely with PR and Marketing team in Commercial Division, the Public Relations Executive ensures brand consistency while driving awareness across local and international markets for our hotel.
What You Will Do
- Support the development and execution of integrated public relations campaigns.
- Lead the hotel's social media strategy and execution in partnership with the appointed third-party agency, ensuring engaging content, campaign alignment, audience growth, and brand consistency across all social media platforms.
- Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and key opinion leaders.
- Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, media pitches, and other PR communications.
- Coordinate media visits, hosted stays, and PR/FAM trips.
- Create compelling written content, including press releases, newsletters, feature stories, and media pitches.
- Develop and adapt content for digital platforms and social media channels.
- Ensure all communications align with Four Seasons brand voice, visual identity, and standards.
- Design marketing and PR collateral, including media kits, invitations, posters, flyers, and digital assets.
- Ensure all creative materials comply with Four Seasons brand guidelines.
- Support basic photo and video editing, as well as layout design for campaigns and promotional materials.
- Plan and execute PR events, product launches, media activations, and influencer experiences.
- Identify and develop partnership opportunities with brands, influencers, and organizations that enhance hotel visibility.
- Coordinate event materials and creative assets across all hotel outlets and venues.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Catering Sales, Food & Beverage, Culinary, Spa, and Rooms teams to identify and develop compelling storytelling opportunities.
- Support crisis communications and reputation management initiatives when required.
- Provide administrative support to PR and Marketing team
What You Bring
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in public relations, communications, marketing, social media, or an agency environment, preferably within luxury hospitality or lifestyle brands.
- Proven experience managing social media platforms and collaborating with external agencies to develop and execute content strategies.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging content for multiple audiences and channels.
- Proficiency in graphic design and content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).
- Strong visual storytelling skills with a keen eye for design, branding, and layout.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
- Passion for luxury hospitality, lifestyle, and brand storytelling.
- Native-level Japanese proficiency, with excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Must have the legal right to work in Japan.
