Front Office Agent

Riggs Washington DC sits on the iconic downtown corner of Penn Quarter’s 9th and F Street in a historic building once home to Riggs National Bank. Each of the Hotel’s 181 guest rooms offers a playful nod to the building’s legacy. Riggs is home to the all-occasion European brasserie-inspired restaurant Café Riggs, as well as Silver Lyan – a subterranean bar from the internationally acclaimed Ryan Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan.

Essential Functions:

• Greet guests in a warm, personable, sincere and friendly manner
• Process guest arrivals and departures
• Modify guest reservations as needed
• Answer phone calls, emails and guest inquiries in a timely manner
• Collaborate and communicate with all departments to ensure seamless guest satisfaction
• Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain guest confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned by Front Office Leadership

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• A minimum of 1-2 years' experience is preferred but not required
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Full flexibility is required to include evenings, weekends and holidays.

Compensation

$24.00 per hour
