The General Affairs Specialist plays a key role in leading workplace operations and administrative excellence across the Cheonan sites. This position is responsible for overseeing site administration, employee services, vendor and facility management, government and external stakeholder coordination, executive protocol support, and workplace improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Site Administration
Serve as the primary contact for local government agencies and regulatory administrative matters.
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and contractors.
Administer site-related operating expenses and General Affairs budgets.
Manage tax payments and administrative filings.
Maintain employee attendance and administrative records.
Manage security access authorization through SECOM systems.
Administer site welfare expenses including employee snack programs.
Manage industrial complex facility treatment fees and related documentation.
Workplace Services & Vendor Management
Manage daily workplace services including cafeteria, transportation, café, cleaning, security, and other employee support programs.
Lead vendor contract administration, performance management, and service quality improvement initiatives.
Drive initiatives that enhance workplace efficiency, employee experience, and operational effectiveness.
Budget & Cost
Monitor and control General Affairs operational expenses.
Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
Review invoices and process payments.
Identify cost optimization opportunities across site services.
Prepare monthly expense reports and management reviews.
Security & Site Governance
Manage employee and contractor access authorization.
Coordinate with security service providers.
Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.
Operational Planning & Project Support
Support facility expansion, renovation, and workplace improvement projects.
Coordinate with Facilities, EHS, Procurement, and external contractors.
Assist project tracking, budget monitoring, and administrative support activities.
Support site readiness activities for new facilities and workplace enhancements.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in General Affairs, Workplace Operations, Corporate Services, Facilities Management, or a related function.
Demonstrated experience managing external vendors and workplace service operations.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred
Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or multinational corporate environment.
Experience working with government agencies and external service providers.
Experience supporting executive visits, corporate events, or protocol-related activities.
Experience supporting facility or workplace improvement projects.
English communication skills.
