Job Description:
This position will be a key contributor to the success of the Gresham manufacturing location by supporting the applications, printers, basic networking, terminal servers, phones and computers used in the manufacturing environment. A successful candidate will work independently while taking directions from the Enterprise Applications Infrastructure Manager. The candidate should have strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. The candidate needs to be able to understand complex documentation relating to the hardware and software they support and use. Installing or performing upgrades to software applications individually or through deployment software is a core job function.
Be the first responder to all IT related issues and calls
Maintain a high level of engagement in job ownership, customer service, and quality of service
Work within a team to provide technical support to manufacturing and engineering users
Be able to work for long periods in a clean room environment wearing full bunny suit attire
Work autonomously in researching issues and coming to viable/relevant solutions.
Practice excellent verbal and written skills
Provide quality fab application support and desktop computing environment support
Use Corporate Service Now ticketing environment to log and monitor customer questions, issues, and problems through to resolution/completion
Work independently with minimal supervision, be self-directed, and self-led
Assist the engineers within your team
Work autonomously in researching issues while coming to viable and relevant solutions
Apply troubleshooting/analytical skills to problem solving
Install and maintain computing devices in a clean room environment
Resolve desktop software and desktop hardware problems for end-users
Maintain systems in-line with site and corporate direction and policies
Maintain accurate inventory of computing devices and software
Add new devices to LAN and Active Directory
Initially troubleshoot network related issues (Serial, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN)
Coordinate and perform network wiring cross-connects
Resolve IT Security issues on computing devices
Requirements/Qualifications:
Experience in desktop management and knowledge of LAN concepts. Experience using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Power Point, OneNote, Outlook). Must be able to work for long periods in a clean room environment wearing full bunny suit attire. Must be self-motivated and able to complete tasks in priority order with strong problem-solving ability. Customer service skills are a must.
Critical Physical Requirements:
Able to lift 30 lbs; push 80 lbs, pull approx. 80 lbs; carry 40 lbs; sit 20%; stand 40%; walk 40%; must be able to perform activities that include climbing, bending at waist, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, crawling, handling, feeling, hearing, talking, seeing.
This is classified as a safety sensitive position.
