We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Officer (Export Operations) to join our team and support accurate export documentation, data processing, and freight forwarding operations while ensuring compliance with established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter export shipment data accurately in accordance with the Export Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- Create Quick Bookings based on booking confirmations using the CargoWise system.
- Register Consol shipments and prepare Shippers Instructions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Respond to operational queries and retrieve relevant shipment information and documentation.
- Verify completed work to ensure accuracy and compliance with operational requirements.
- Proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders via email to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Maintain the confidentiality of customer and company information at all times.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and actively support Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed within established KPIs, SLAs, and operational deadlines.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience in Export Freight Forwarding is preferred.
- Proven experience in data entry with strong typing speed and accuracy.
- Experience using CargoWise or other freight forwarding systems is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
- Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn, take ownership, and continuously improve.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Able to perform effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
