Job Summary:

Responsible for developing and managing projects related to Telehealth initiatives including analysis, training, testing, problem resolution and implementation of solutions. Provides leadership to the Center for Telehealth in the determination of goals, approaches used and mentoring of team members. Works with team members and interacts with stakeholder teams from clinical, operational, administrative, IT and end user areas.

Job Duties:

  • Leads project initiatives and prepares project documents including project plans, project requirements, design documents, flow charts, requests for vendor proposals, presentations, test plans, procedures, training materials, stakeholder communications and reports.
  • Applies the concepts of standard system methodologies and project management throughout the implementation and use of assigned applications, including routine progress reporting, procedure documentation and change control processes.
  • Ensures that Telehealth project initiatives overall system design meets business objectives, becomes integrated into operations and results in cost-effective solutions of value to patients and physicians.
  • Provides input to the Telehealth Management Team in the development of annual goals and initiatives.
  • Conducts outreach to clinical, administrative and IT teams to develop working relationships and determine how best Telehealth solutions can support the goals and objectives of the organization in its efforts to provide quality patient care and patient satisfaction.
  • Performs independently and leads other analysts and data coordinators in data analysis and reporting in support of Telehealth initiatives, including data gathering, extraction, manipulation, interpretation, analysis and translation into meaningful reports that meet stakeholder needs and measure the impact of initiatives.
  • Works with outside vendors and internal Information Systems staff to ensure that Telehealth technologies and services adhere to established internal and external specifications, policies and regulations including confidentiality, release of information and HIPAA.
