Position Summary

The QHSE&E Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership and alignment of the company's Quality Assurance, Health, Safety, Environmental and Energy management (QHSE&E) functions. The role ensures that all related systems, processes, and teams operate efficiently, continuously improve, and comply with applicable regulatory and corporate requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop the QHSE&E team by setting objectives, conducting performance evaluations, and establishing an effective feedback culture
  • Translate strategic objectives into team-level goals and KPIs, monitoring execution and performance
  • Define competency development and training frameworks and approve individual development plans
  • Oversee succession planning for all key positions within the department
  • Ensure effective resource planning and balanced workload distribution across the team
  • Manage recruitment and onboarding activities for the QHSE&E function

Quality Management

  • Define and oversee the implementation of the Quality Management strategy and annual plans
  • Ensure that all required quality documentation and core quality tools (including PFMEA, MSA, Process Capability Studies, and Control Plans) are established and maintained
  • Supervise the handling of non-conformities, customer complaints, and product recalls, approving corrective actions and key decisions
  • Lead Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) activities and processes

Health, Safety, Environment, Energetics & Integrated Management Systems

  • Ensure the effective operation of the Integrated Management System, including documentation and audit processes
  • Oversee the investigation and reporting of HSE incidents and ensure regular performance reporting
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety, environmental, fire safety regulations
  • Lead the local implementation of the company's Sustainability Strategy and approve related action plans

Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Management

  • Provide strategic support for improvement initiatives and projects within the area of responsibility
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing the company in professional forums
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience, preferably at senior management level
  • Strong knowledge of Integrated Management Systems and ISO standards
  • Solid understanding of occupational health & safety and fire safety regulations
  • Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken
